Owen Wilson
Owen Wilson born as Owen Cunningham Wilson on November 18th, 1968 in Dallas, Texas is a wonderful Hollywood actor who is known for his comical acting skills. Owen Wilson is also a powerful screenwriter, who earned an Oscar nomination along with the director-screenwriter Wes Anderson for Best Screenplay for "The Royal Tenenbaums".
Owen Wilson was born to Robert Andrew Wilson, an advertising executive and Laura Wilson nee Cunningham, a professional photographer. Owen Wilson has two brothers Luke Wilson and Andrew Wilson. Owen Wilson while he is in tenth grade at St. Mark's School, he stole his teacher's math textbook to finish off his homework quicker and was subsequently expelled from school. Owen Wilson later rejoined The Lamplighter School in which he studied earlier.
Owen Wilson later shifted his base to Los Angeles in 1991 to become a film actor. After struggling for five years, Owen Wilson made his debut in movies with "Bottle Rocket" in 1996. He went on to do minor roles in many movies until he got a big break in 2000 with "Shanghai Noon", a comedy movie in which he starred alongside Jackie Chan. "Shanghai Noon" was a major blockbuster movie grossing over $100million worldwide. Since then Owen Wilson has been cast in comic roles in movies like "Behind Enemy Lines", "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Zoolander", "I Spy", and "Wedding Crashers". Owen Wilson also teamed up with his brothers Luke and Andrew in "The Wendell Baker Story".
Owen Wilson was romantically linked up with Singer Sheryl Crow, actresses Demi Moore and Kate Hudson. Forty-year-old Owen Wilson in a drugged condition slashed his wrists in an attempt to commit suicide on August 26th, 2007. Fortunately he survived as he was immediately shifted to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California and later to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Owen Wilson made his public appearance at the 2008 Oscars.
